    I have to use both hands when need to sift flour with my sifter. One thing I don’t like about it if I compare it to the sifter in the photo below. Takes not much space compared to old fashion ones I had. Super easy to make!Ī few words about my experience with the sifter in the photo above. Pasta colander is a great flour sifter substitute too to enrich flour with air.Īnother substitute for a flour sifter is a large plastic bottle if we make holes on the bottom. If you don’t have a sifter, use a colander. The best substitute for a flour sifter is a strainer with a fine mesh.
